Sales & Campaigns Manager

We are looking for a Sales & Campaigns Manager to join our busy marketing and communications team. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering a series of marketing campaigns promoting the organisation’s artistic and creative programmes and commercial offer in order to meet sales targets, maximise revenue, and retain and attract new audiences. They will be responsible for the implementation of Norwich Theatre’s brand strategy and audience development plans and will work with the wider team to improve customer experience, audience engagement and marketing effectiveness.

This is a great opportunity for a proactive and dynamic individual with significant marketing experience and creative flair combined with commercial acumen. Passionate about the arts, you will have excellent written and oral communication skills and attention to detail; experience of managing budgets and teams; and an ability to engage and build relationships with stakeholders at all levels. This role is based in a fast paced department and therefore requires a self-starter, someone who can effectively manage and prioritise a very busy workload and use their initiative to get tasks completed to tight deadlines and to a high standard.

Media & Content Manager

Norwich Theatre is now looking for a Media & Content Manager to join its busy marketing and communications team. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering Norwich Theatre’s digital strategy to enhance the organisation’s profile and showcase the full breadth of our activities including shows and events, creative and community programmes, commercial offer and fundraising initiatives. They will be responsible for managing the Norwich Theatre website, social media and other digital platforms, whilst creating and distributing highly engaging and quality content across all channels.

The ideal candidate will have significant experience working in digital marketing and be able to show evidence of planning and delivering successful campaigns. They will have a high level of intellectual rigor and creativity; the ability to prioritise effectively and work under pressure whilst meeting tight deadlines; excellent written and verbal communications skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with a variety of stakeholders; experience of managing budgets and teams.

Visitor Services Manager

The Visitor Services Manager supports the Commercial and Visitor Services Director in ensuring an excellent customer experience for all Visitors, staff and artists across our 3 buildings. The Visitor Services Manager is responsible for our duty Management team ensuring we have cover in all areas both front and back of house including stage door welcome, our Cleaning Services department and has overall responsibility for the management and development of our Volunteers Stewards & Welcome assistant’s team.

Visitor Services Duty Manager

As a senior member of staff on duty in our buildings, the Visitor Services Duty Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring that all our visitors to Norwich Theatre Royal, Norwich Playhouse and Stage Two receive a friendly, informed welcome and have a brilliant experience whilst they are with us. Covering both Front and back of House areas, the Visitor Services Duty Manager will ensure the safety and security of all public, visitors and staff from opening the buildings to the final close and locking up.

Artist Development Coordinator

The development of local theatre creatives and of new work is a vital part of the creative output of Norwich Theatre. Our provision in this area will provide support for early career, mid-career and established theatre makers and creative practitioners in the region. This work will include a portfolio of activities including networking, workshops, courses, residencies, intensives, traineeships and R&D which Artist Development Coordinator will administrate, co-ordinate and support.

Freelancers Call Out 

Norwich Theatre and Valid Productions are co-producing Carlos Acosta’s On Before, a large scale dance theatre production starring Carlos Acosta, that will be rehearsed and produced in Norwich. The production will open at Norwich Theatre Royal in July 2021 before embarking on a three venue UK tour. Norwich Theatre is seeking to contract the following for this work:

Freelance Arts Project Manager

Norwich Theatre is looking for an experienced, dynamic and versatile Project Manager to work alongside the Creative Programmes Director during our re-opening phase of summer 2021. The new Creative Programmes directorate brings our stage and non-stage programmes together, recognising the value of all creative experiences wherever and however they may take place, encompassing both stage programmes in all three venues alongside digital programming and Creative Engagement activities.
