Casual Lighting, Sound or Stage Technicians

Norwich Theatre are always on the lookout for skilled and dedicated individuals join us on a casual basis to provide additional support when staffing requirements increase for a particular show or period.

Casual Technicians work as part of a team, supporting the Resident Technical staff in the delivery of Toured and In House Productions at all Norwich Theatre premises.

Key responsibilities include:-

• Ensuring touring productions are presented to high standards and make full use of available facilities.
• Working on; Pre-Rigs, Get Ins, Shows and Get Outs and other production related activities
• Ensuring a safe working environment in technical areas and in other departments at all time

About You
You will need practical experience of backstage lighting, sound or stage work or work in a similar creative environment, together with a basic understanding of health and Safety in the workplace. The role involves manual handling and working at heights, so there is a requirement for a good standard of physical fitness and be comfortable working at heights, in addition to being an excellent Team Player.
