Tales of Theatre
We all have a personal experience or a poignant memory of theatre – taking part in a pantomime at a village hall, a school trip to see a concert, where friendships were formed, a place where you met your future spouse, or when you met your acting hero.
Working with professional writer, James McDermott, we want to hear your short stories of a memorable time, from childhood or as an adult, that is personal to you about an experience of theatre.
Starting with conversations with our practitioner and other participants, we will share stories and ideas for people to write their own text. We will discuss options to share this work for early 2021.
Tales of Theatre is part of our newly launched Creative Community Recovery Programme, a series of workshops, discussions and activities designed in response to the pandemic and focusing on supporting mental health and emotional wellbeing. Click here for more information.
