Dance workshops for over 50s inspired by our productions on stage. Open to everyone regardless of experience and ability, all you need is enthusiasm and curiosity for the joyful world of dance.
Limelighters Jazz and Musical Workshops
Come and join a musical theatre and jazz dance workshop inspired by the shows featured on Norwich Theatre Royal’s main stage.
One-off monthly drama sessions inspired by productions across our three stages. The focus is on having fun whilst exploring the skills and techniques of the performer, and spending time with like-minded people. No experience necessary, just lots of enthusiasm!
Delivered by industry professionals, these classes are ideal for those who are unable to commit to a longer course or for those interested in discovering or improving a specific theatre skill. The series offers classes on a variety of disciplines including scriptwriting, storytelling, backstage and acting.
A creative course for those with an interest in theatre and performance. Explore and develop performance skills through exercises, improvisation and text, as well as exploring some theatre techniques.
Silver Stage Company
Mondays & Wednesdays 10am – 12pm Stage Two (By application only)
Silver Stage Company will further advance your drama and performance technique, whilst working towards small scale productions. Playful and experimental, this company will be experienced theatre practitioners.
To join Silver Stage Company, participants must be 50+ and have completed at least two terms of Take Part courses.
Our next production is The Accordion Shop by Cush Jumbo, will be performed 1 July 2020.
To join Silver Stage Company there is a membership fee of £20. With this members get reduced rates on day time Limelighters performance skills workshops, two free annual social events, offers to complimentary tickets when possible and access to auditions for two productions per year.
Members will be charged £135 per term to be part of each production.
