Delivered by industry professionals, our tailor-made, age appropriate syllabus offers specialised training in drama. We have close relationships with major national companies including the National Theatre and the Royal Shakespeare Company. Where appropriate, this enables us to access additional high quality training opportunities for our members during the year.
The Introductory Young Actors course focuses on creative play, theatre games, exercises and role play to build confidence and creativity. At the end of the Introductory course, members will progress onto the Junior and then Senior Young Actors programmes which explore and develop specific acting techniques including vocal work, devising text, ensemble, physicality and character.
We believe that quality training and experience is crucial for those wishing to enter the industry. This is why both within and alongside our courses there are always performance opportunities across our three stages. Collaborating across all art forms and being aware of the different roles involved in producing productions is fundamental to our young people’s knowledge when entering the industry today.
