20 Mar 2022
Select a performance
The 18th annual Evening of Jazz & Cabaret is full of variety as the show finally returns after an absence of two years. It will again be a night of fun, frivolity and fundraising for two breast cancer support charities.
In the first of two shows in 2021, artists include renown vocalists Lee Gibson and Tina May honouring the ‘Ladies of Jazz’, David Rees and Julie Hewitt paying tribute to the great French singers of the 1930’s and 40’s, the Simon Brown trio with Jose Canha and Alex Best, plus magician David Fung and young pianist Jack Stone. And dynamic quartet Djangoliers, led by guitarist Simon Hurley, summon the spirit of Django Reinhardt with authentic renditions of tunes written by or synonymous with the renowned gypsy jazz guitarist.
All profits from the show are split between two breast cancer support charities, Breast Cancer Now and Keeping Abreast.
