‘A top class evening of music, song and comedy’ EDP

‘Lee is that rarity, a swinging singer who has also reached the highest standards of musicianship’ Time Out, London

The 18th Evening of Jazz & Cabaret is full of variety as the show returns for its annual night of fun, frivolity and fundraising for two breast cancer support charities.

Over £36,000 has been raised since the inaugural show in 2003 with 80 different artists generously donating their time and talents to ensure the charities continue to receive funds for their work. This year singers Lee Gibson, Richard Shelton, David Rees and Julie Hewitt all return along with comedian Steve N Allen (BBC2’s The Mash Report), magician David Fung and perennial favourite Earl Okin with his unique brand of entertainment. And dynamic quartet Djangoliers, led by guitarist Simon Hurley, summon the spirit of Django Reinhardt with authentic renditions of tunes written by or synonymous with the renowned gypsy jazz guitarist.

All profits from the show are split between two breast cancer support charities, Breast Cancer Now and Keeping Abreast.

The show is once again generously sponsored by Hansells Solicitors and Financial Advisers.
