Family Story Makers - May and June
This event is in the past
Family Story Makers is a weekly interactive play session for children and their grown-ups dedicated to story time in a fun, friendly and relaxed environment.
The perfect progression from our Sing, Dance, Play sessions, you’ll explore the world children’s books through a series of physical theatre, movement and non-verbal creative play exercises.
Together, we will bring stories to life, helping to instil a lifelong love of stories, build confidence, and create a magical shared experience.
The sessions will cover:
- How you can bring stories to life through song and movement play
- Mark making skills for those picking up a book or imaginary pen for the first time
- Exploring stories as a group, as well as quiet time for one-to-one reading
You’ll also take home lots of ideas for keeping story time engaging and interactive as your child moves into the early stages of their education.
Norwich Theatre wants to make sure that your visit goes as smoothly and happily as possible. Baby changing facilities can be found on both floors of the building. We’re also a buggy-friendly venue: there is level access throughout the building with lifts to all floors and there is space to store your buggy. We are breastfeeding friendly.
