We’re having a poetry picnic ON THE THEATRE ROYAL STAGE!

Come together. Write Now!

A snack heavy celebration of music and poetry, with poet Simon Mole and musician Gecko. We’ll play fun (and quite silly) games to get to know each other and build your confidence and skill with words, then help you pen a poem with the power to send your picnic blanket skywards. And we’ll play some Beatles meets the Beastie Boys-style bangers of our own. Our guys poet is Sophie Lau.

Please note that this event is Bring Your Own Biscuits.

Your ticket is for one picnic blanket space on our stage (no need to bring your own blanket). Each blanket seats up to five people. You will also each receive a notebook and activity pack.
