We all have stories of rebellion. Connect to your own through this theatrical audio experience on Mousehold Heath, exploring the legacy of Kett’s 1549 Rebellion.
Bernard, Hazel and Sylvia will be your companions as you put on headphones for an immersive walk in the woods. Follow the trail as the unfolding story of local peasants defending their rights unearths memories of their own acts of rebellion; of the moments they too chose to take a stand.
Combining cutting-edge sound and a large, live, community cast, Rebel Rabble is a ramble through time in one of Norwich’s most historic landscapes. See the heath in a new light, encounter the unexpected, and hear the ghostly echoes of 1549. Both exciting and poignant, this is an outdoor theatre experience that invites you to hunt for where the past and the present collide.
Award-winning Limbik are a Norwich-based company that make new theatre and live experiences in physical and digital space. Rebel Rabble has been created with the support of Norwich Theatre’s Artist Development Programme, and funding by Arts Council England.
