What is it?
Stories that Move is a creative family workshop celebrating Black History Month, exploring the incredible and brave journeys made by the passengers on board the Empire Windrush in 1948. For families with children age 5 – 10.

What will I get from taking part?
Using pictures, poetry, stories and music, we will discover and create our own journeys using movement and dance! Join us to celebrate the huge contributions and cultural impact made by Windrush Generation and their families, shaping the Britain we know today.

Pay What You Can
Every session is open to everyone, with options to fit:

  • Just come and play! You’re welcome to join in for free if you’d like.
  • Pay a suggested donation, which helps keep our Take Part work running
