Theatre Conversations: Culture and Climate (March)
Leadership and governance
This event is in the past
Join our informal, monthly discussion group that explores the role of theatre and creativity in the climate crisis. Each conversation will begin with our guest speaker and people have the opportunity to discuss, debate and ask questions or sit back and enjoy the conversation.
Our conversation this month will tackle leadership and governance within arts/theatre. It will be led by Heike Schroeder – Professor of Environmental Governance, School of International Development at UEA – and will explore the possibility of certain models having a positive impact on society and the climate in particular. We will be asking how the arts are (or perhaps are not!) fertile grounds for exploration into socially responsible governance models that seek to have positive climate impacts.
