Two Turtle Doves
06 Dec 19:30
Join two of international cabaret’s Grandest of Dames, Dillie Keane and Barb Jungr, as they jump giblets first into the festive season.
These two giants first joined forces to perform side-by-side for the 2021 festive season, and since proved that this is definitely an evening not to be mistletoed….as they are still at it! Featuring songs by Tom Waits, Ray Davies, John Legend and a hilarious take on the Twelve Days of Christmas, among many more, this is not your standard musical Christmas fare. You will want second helpings of this pudding for sure!
Dillie Keane is known worldwide as a founder member of the legendary Fascinating Aida and has played in pretty much every theatre in the country and far beyond.
Barb Jungr is known worldwide for her work on Bob Dylan and Leonard Cohen’s songs, and as a radical interpreter of the New American Songbook. Dillie and Barb will be accompanied by Tony Award Winner Sarah Travis (Julian Clary, Fascinating Aida, Lily Savage, Alvin Stardust and Issy Van Randwyck.) on piano. The glorious harmonies, musicality, emotion and fun on offer are a total festive experience.
