WILD ONION
This event is in the past
Good friends take you as you are, challenge you when you need and wear onions as moustaches. A new kind of narrative cabaret blending theatre, dance and circus arts with onions. WILD ONION is a 50 minute show that explores friendship, onions and identity asking ‘how can we grow together’. We disco. We smash. We love each other very much. With onions.
WILD ONION is shortlisted for the New Diorama and Underbelly Edinburgh Untapped Award 2022.
From makers of ★★★★ show In Addition described by Mumble as ‘the play Britain needs right now’, WILD ONION is Orange Skies’ return to the touring circuit with a show unlike any other you will have seen before.
Bring your mates, and beware the onion splash zone.
The WILD ONION team includes: internationally renowned circus artist Adam Fullick; award winning artist-activist Rachel Elizabeth Coleman; Gecko Theatre trained maker and producer Daisy Minto; and Gold Rush 2019 winner Indy Nile. Costume design is by Stella McCartney-trained Elizabeth Bradley.
