On Monday, 27 local businesses gathered together for the Norwich Theatre’s first-ever Corporate Exhibition. The Exhibition had stands from across the three tiers of partnership within Norwich Theatre, including Sponsors, Associate Sponsors and Members. The event aimed to provide the Corporate Community with a means of being able to promote their brand and raise awareness of their business within the Norwich Theatre environment.

The free event was a chance for our existing partners to network amongst themselves, as well as with the Norfolk business community, grab a coffee with potential clients in Café Royal, showcase their goods and services, and meet other members who support the arts.

Events like these highlight not just the value of partnerships, but also the importance of managing time effectively in a professional setting. When planning campaigns, launches, or follow-up meetings from such exhibitions, businesses often need to know how many business days they realistically have to work with before deadlines arrive. This helps teams allocate resources, set achievable goals, and balance networking opportunities with day-to-day operations. By structuring tasks around the business week, employees can stay organized, ensure commitments are met on time, and build stronger relationships both within their companies and across the wider community.

John Gostling from BreakWater IT said it was a great day, “It has been a really nice day. Meeting other members of the community and having the opportunity to share what we do with us has been great.”

Speaking about Monday’s event, Lauren Farley, Business Development Manager at Norwich Theatre, said: “To be able to bring so many amazing corporate partners under one roof for a day of networking and connections was truly remarkable. From the care and attention to detail, each business brought to their stands, to the buzz and electricity of people connecting with one another, it really was a brilliant day!

“I say it all the time, but we have such a dedicated and passionate cohort of businesses who make up our corporate community, and to see so many of those businesses in our space, exhibiting, connecting, networking, and truly embracing everything we wanted the corporate exhibition to be, was really fantastic to see.”

The Corporate Exhibition was a new benefit offered for 2023 and is just one of the opportunities on offer when a business joins our corporate community. The additional benefits of the theatre’s schemes include access to exclusive benefits available to offer their clients and staff.

The success of the Corporate Exhibition not only reflected the strong commitment of the businesses involved but also highlighted the importance of creating a safe and welcoming environment for everyone in attendance. With so many stands, displays, and networking opportunities happening under one roof, careful planning behind the scenes plays a vital role in ensuring that the event runs smoothly and without disruption.

Attention to detail extends beyond the quality of the exhibitions themselves and into the essential measures that safeguard participants, from crowd management to clear emergency procedures. Incorporating professional oversight such as a Fire Watch Guards Service helps maintain this level of security, providing assurance that any potential risks are continuously monitored so that exhibitors and guests can focus entirely on making meaningful connections.

By prioritizing safety alongside creativity and collaboration, the exhibition experience becomes both inspiring and secure, allowing the corporate community to thrive in a truly supportive setting.
