Keeping You Safe While Taking Part

Each activity will be conducted in line with the latest Government guidance and following UK Theatre guidelines.

  • Anyone with COVID-19 symptoms or a positive test result should stay at home and self-isolate immediately. If you have symptoms of COVID-19, you should arrange to take a PCR test as soon as possible, even if you’ve had one of more doses of a COVID-19 vaccine. This is in line with the Government Coronavirus advice.
  • Masks are now mandatory for customers and visitors, except those under the age of 11 or who are medically exempt. This applies at all times in Norwich Theatre buildings, including the auditorium, the Playhouse Bar and Café Royal, except when eating or drinking. All of our staff will also continue to wear masks in public areas.
  • Access to Stage Two will not be available until ten minutes before your activity start times; please be mindful of this when planning your arrival.
  • We have increased capacities at our activities, although this is still below our normal numbers to ensure groups are able to maintain a level of social distancing.
  • Enhanced cleaning regimes are in place throughout the building.
  • Hand sanitiser units will be available throughout.
  • Our staff will be on hand at all times, so if you have any questions during your visit please speak to a member of our team.
