Schools Visiting the Theatre

We want to make your trip to Norwich Theatre Royal as easy and simple as possible, so you and your students can concentrate on enjoying the workshop or show.

Virtual Tours

A virtual tour of Norwich Theatre Royal is available here. This can be used before your visit to help familiarise pupils with the venue.

This short film has been commissioned for use in primary schools. It follows a school visit to the theatre and is can be watched in the classroom before your visit.

Access

Parking

There is no on-site parking for coaches or minibuses at Norwich Theatre Royal. There is a coach drop-off layby opposite the Theatre on Theatre Street. Access to the Theatre is across a zebra crossing.

Coaches and minibuses can park at Lower Clarence Road, situated behind the Norwich railway station, Norwich City Football Club, on non-match days and Harford Park & Ride, situated on the A140 Ipswich Road and A47 junction.

Minibuses can also park at surface carparks on Rouen Road and Chantry Road. For more information visit www.norwich.gov.uk
