We recommend that teachers read our short Teacher’s Guide to Visiting the Theatre, especially if they have not visited Norwich Theatre Royal before. Our Learning and Education team can help with any other enquiries. Please email stagetwo@norwichtheatre.org or call 01603 598 600
Virtual Tours
A virtual tour of Norwich Theatre Royal is available here. This can be used before your visit to help familiarise pupils with the venue.
This short film has been commissioned for use in primary schools. It follows a school visit to the theatre and is can be watched in the classroom before your visit.
Ice Cream
While we ask attendees not to eat or drink during performances, many shows have a 20 minute interval, which is an excellent opportunity for refreshments.
To make coordinating your interval easier, you may wish to pre-order ice creams for your groups. Pre-orders can be made by completing an order form and sending it with payment to the address on the form, or alternatively handing it to the Welcome Point, with payment, on your arrival at the theatre.

We strive to make Norwich Theatre Royal accessible for all. If there is anything we can do to support your visit please get in touch. Full information about what we offer can be found on our Access information page
