Chef De Partie
Main Purpose of the Role
To assist the Head Chef and Sous Chef to achieve the highest standards of food production and customer satisfaction whilst contributing to the achievement of gross profit targets. Maintaining a safe and hygienic kitchen environment whilst working effectively with other colleagues, kitchen and other areas within the organisation.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Responsible for the day to day running of any section given
- Produce food as required and directed, for all areas within the organisation
- Ensure consistency of food quality and presentation
- Assist with daily ordering informing the senior chef on duty of requirements
- Ensure provisions are used effectively and that waste is kept to a minimum
- Follow recipes given and ensure that portion control measures are in place at all times
- Train junior members of team as required
- Assist other team members on section keeping motivated and focused
About You
You will work as part of a team and able to prioritise tasks systematically. You have good communication skills and able to update the Supervisor on duty when necessary. You will be able to work flexibility with various hours on a rota system.
