Housekeeping Assistant
We are recruiting for Seasonal Housekeeping roles during the Christmas season.
There are 6 available roles and the contracts we are able to offer are all with a minimum of 10 hours per week per role with the possible availability of additional hours.
The fixed term contract will run from 27th October 2025 – 2nd February 2026
The shift pattern spans across 7 days per week to include early mornings, evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
Main Purpose of the Role
The Housekeeping assistant role will work as part of a team to maintain the required high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across our 3 buildings in all front and back of house areas:
- To ensure all public areas are clean, hygienic and presentable at all times
- Support the Duty Management team at show times in cleaning role to ensure an visitor experience
- To ensure of back of house areas are clean, hygienic and presentable at all times; ready to receive visiting cast and companies
The interviews will be held on the 19th, 20th and 21st of October 2025.

Hospitality Supervisor (Full Time)
The Hospitality Supervisor will ensure the smooth running of operations in all our Commercial areas. Assisting the Commercial Operations Manager and directing the Hospitality team each day in our Bars, Restaurant, Café and Events, the role will deliver a first-class experience in all our Commercial activities in our buildings and events.
Main Purpose of the Role
- To assist Commercial Operations Manager in the smooth day to day running of all Norwich Theatre commercial areas- Restaurant, Bars, Café, Playhouse, roving sales and Events
- To ensure Customer care and standards of service in all areas are of the highest level and meet the standards set by the Head of Commercial
- Provide supervision and guidance for the Hospitality team
About You
You will have recent relevant experience in a busy Hospitality or leisure environment, ideally with experience of working and supervising in a Restaurant and bar environment. A knowledge of EPOS till systems and cash handling, together with a people and customer focus will be key. The successful candidate will have experience of providing outstanding customer service and an eye for detail.
