Creative Development Producer

Supporting the Head of Creative development, the post holder will have specific responsibility for the planning and coordination of a rolling programme of activity for the theatre’s Artist Network, the producing of scratch nights and new work sharings, and for day-to-day support for artists in residence. In addition, they will provide occasional targeted support to the producing team on work originated or co-produced by Norwich Theatre

About you

With experience of working within an arts environment in a producing, programming or event/project management capacity, you will have a good understanding of the purpose of artist/talent development, and knowledge of different approaches

Being able to work fluidly, flexibly and in close partnership, balancing a focus on day-to-day tasks with the ability to think strategically; bringing innovative, challenging and creative ideas to the table will be key for this role

Contract Type This is a full time (37.5 hours) permanent role, however we welcome applications on a part time (ideally 4 days per week) or flexible working basis.

Circa £32,000 pa (or pro rata if part time)

Creative Engagement Officer

The Creative Engagement Officer supports the Creative Engagement team to deliver key projects with diverse communities and partners in our buildings and off site. In addition, the Creative Engagement Officer supports the team to deliver participation activities, such as targeted work with partner organisations, Family Festival and cross team events/projects. They will also provide administrative support to manage participants and their data, including the gathering of evaluation for our work.

Norwich Theatre is committed to recruiting with care and safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and adults at risk. We expect everyone working or volunteering with or for us to share this commitment. DBS checks will be required for this role. The role holder will have to have, and maintain a clear Enhanced DBS.

Contract Type 37.5 hrs per week (hours are worked to meet the requirements of the role and some evening and weekend work will be required)

Earnings: £28145.00 to £28145.00
