About the role

As a key member of our Finance and People and Culture Team,  the Head of People and Culture provides effective operational support to the Finance Director and Chief Resource Officer in delivering a people strategy that helps deliver the Norwich Theatre’s strategic plan by ensuring the contribution of all employees is maximised. You will provide direction, support and guidance to the executive team, managers and their people and ensure the service is proactive, efficient and flexible to respond to the changing needs of the organisation. You will also guide, direct and motivate the People and Culture team on a day to day basis so that they display their best potential and work effectively together as a team

About you

You will hold CIPD professional membership at MCIPD or FCIPD level with a level 7 Hr qualification or demonstrable equivalent experience. You will have experience of working at Head of HR or HR manager level, with a strong working knowledge of the latest employment, case law and best practice processes.

The ability to manage diverse personalities and viewpoints and prioritise competing demands will be key for this role.
