Norwich Theatre is on the lookout for budding performers to be a part of the Junior Ensemble for Norwich Theatre’s 2025 panto, Cinderella, which, opens at Norwich Theatre Royal on 6 Dec 25 and runs until 4 Jan 26.
Twelve children will be cast in total, with the number of performances being split among the performers. The Junior Ensemble will play a variety of exciting roles, from lively townspeople to mischievous mice. Applications to be part of the Junior Ensemble opens on Wed 23 Jul and close Sun 24 Aug.
Norwich Theatre is seeking enthusiastic young performers aged 10–13 with strong dance and singing skills. Due to the demands of the production, applicants must live within a 30-minute travel time to Norwich Theatre Royal.
Rehearsals and performances will include commitments during school hours, as well as evenings and weekends. The rehearsal period will start on 17 Nov and run until 5 Dec.
Wendy Ellis, Norwich Theatre Creative Programs & Audiences Director and lead producer of the pantomime, said: “This year our Junior Ensemble will be at the heart of Cinderella’s captivating love story, playing a pivotal role in creating the panto magic on our stage alongside.
“We know the region is full of talented young people, and I cannot wait to see who will apply and help us tell Cinderella’s story.”

How to Apply
Applications to be part of the Junior Ensemble opens on Wed 23 Jul and close Sun 24 Aug.
Parents/guardians of applicants are asked to submit their child’s audition via our website norwichtheatre.org.
This will involve completing a brief application form, uploading a photograph, and the submission of a video recording.
All applications submitted through this site will be viewed and considered by the Creative Team.
Those who are successful will be invited to audition in person at Norwich Theatre on 13 Sep.
