Amazing stand-up comedians, beautiful ballet, family favourites and stunning music all go on sale at Norwich Theatre this month. Shows go on sale to the public on the last Friday of the month.
Norwich Theatre is bringing you some fantastic international comedians to tickle your funny bone this month. Jack Whitehall (2 Jun 23) is back with his highly anticipated new live show. This is his most personal show yet, with plenty of material about the big changes that have happened in his life. It’s about his struggle to settle down gracefully. Tom Allen (7 Feb 24) brings his signature sharp wit and riotous storytelling to Norwich Theatre Royal. Tom will share life updates with us, including finally moving out of his parent’s house.
The UK’s premier transgender comedian, Jordan Gray, heads to Norwich Theatre Playhouse fresh from a sold-out run at the Edinburgh Fringe with Is it a Bird? (1 Oct 23). Jordan explores babies, boobies, bigots and Batman in this blistering music and comedy show. Why not try Andrew Bird: Taken Seriously (27 Oct 23) for a more intimate comedy show at Norwich Theatre Stage Two. Andrew supported Russell Howard on his massive national tour at the London Palladium. Andrew will be pointing out how ridiculous it is that everything is taken so seriously now.
Next year, Norwich Theatre will welcome Varna International Ballet (8 – 10 Feb). They will be performing three beautiful ballets, Sleeping Beauty (8 Feb), Swan Lake (9 Feb) and The Nutcracker (10 Feb), across three days. Be prepared to be delighted by Varna International Ballet’s award-winning soloists and magnificent corps de ballet.
This latest line up has some treats for the whole family! The hero next door, Fireman Sam (15 Oct 23), will bring all his friends from Pontypandy to save the day at Norwich Theatre Royal. Don’t miss The Amazing Bubble Man (23 Oct 23) at Norwich Theatre Playhouse. From square bubbles to rocket bubbles, the Amazing Bubble Man conjures shrieks of laughter and gasps of amazement from all ages. The Puddle at the End of the World (23 Sep 23) is a new musical comedy aimed at ages 6-12 about weird weather, extraordinary extinctions and freaky flooding.
For classical music fans, Czech National Symphony Orchestra (19 May 24) will play Czech favourites alongside Copland and Beethoven to Norwich Theatre Royal. Miloš Karadaglic and Arcangelo Ensemble (14 Jan 24) will treat the Norwich Theatre Royal audience to a celebration of Baroque masterpieces. If pop is more your thing, Someone Like You – The Adele Songbook (8 Oct 23) is an outstanding live concert performance featuring stunning vocals, a super-talented band, and an incredible repertoire of all your favourite Adele hits.
