On 14 March Norwich Theatre hosted the final networking event of 2023/24 with the ultimate twist. The event gave guests an opportunity to get up close and personal with the inner workings of a West End production – Bonnie and Clyde – and explore our stage.

The morning’s activity was a resounding success, with over 60 guests from 27 diverse businesses across our Corporate Community in attendance. The networking breakfast, held in the beautiful Café Royal, was a perfect start to the day, allowing guests to enjoy refreshments and catering before the main event on the stage.

Lauren Farley, Business Development Manager for Norwich Theatre, said: “Our networking events are always such a great way to bring everyone together, and this one definitely had a great sense of fun about it. There is something quite magical about getting to stand on the stage, and it was brilliant seeing so many people enjoying the magic backstage.”

The event also allowed for a chance to reflect on what has been a busy and eventful year for Norwich Theatre, examining all aspects, including new members and sponsors, events held, and memorable moments.

During the event, we were thrilled to announce several exciting new opportunities for our Corporate Partners and the wider Norfolk business network. These opportunities include programme advertising for the upcoming 2024/25 season, the opening of our new event space at Norwich Theatre Playhouse, and the continuation of our In Venue Sponsorship package.

Programme advertising is a new addition to the commercial offering across Norwich Theatre Royal programmes for the 2024/25 season. The opportunity provides the perfect platform to get your message seen by our theatregoing audience across a wide range of genres.

With the expansion of our events offering, we also announced our new event space at Norwich Theatre Playhouse; Studio 4 is now available for external hire. Offering a relaxed, informal boardroom workspace, kitchenette, and breakout space, this could be the perfect spot for your next event. We will share further details soon.

Also announced was our In Venue Sponsorship opening up for another year. The package is an enhanced outward-facing marketing concept that is used throughout a week-long performance.

Lauren added, “We are continually looking for new and enhanced ways to engage both our existing and new corporate partners in Norwich Theatre, helping them to meet their business needs through marketing, brand awareness, staff benefits, hospitality, or events. We are excited for the year ahead.”

As we move into the new year, we are excited to continue working with our existing corporate partners and welcome new businesses into our network across a range of our packages and offerings.
