You are going to love the latest shows in Norwich Theatre’s February on sale. Shows going on sale include an epic thriller on a train, a pre-Christmas treat, music icons on stage, a chance to meet a Neighbour’s star, and some fantastic comedians you won’t want to miss. 

All shows go on sale to the public on the last Friday of the month [Fri 23 Feb]. Norwich Theatre Friends and Ambassadors enjoy priority access, plus extra benefits such as half price first night dramas. 

Norwich Theatre is bringing you some fantastic names you will just love! Neighbours star Ryan Moloney, AKA Toadie Rebecchi, heads to Norwich Theatre Playhouse with Toad On The Road(9 Sep 24). Toadie has been at the heart of some of the biggest stories of Australian soap across the last 28 years. And now audiences get to reminisce alongside Ryan as he looks back across all of Toadie’s biggest stories and reveals behind-the-scenes secrets. Get ready to be bowled over by true cricket legend and renowned BBC correspondent Jonathan Agnew with An Evening With Aggers(4-5 Feb 25) at Norwich Theatre Playhouse. Aggers will regale us with stories from his illustrious career both on and off the field. 

Join Harry Hill for a live Q&A after the screening of his film The Last Caveman (30 Mar 24). It’s a lonely life being a caveman, especially if you believe you’re the last one on Earth. Bear fights love, death and new life as the last caveman finds out that maybe he’s not as alone as he thought! 

One of Agatha Christie’s greatest literary achievements, Murder on the Orient Express (17 – 21 Sep 24), pulls up at Norwich Theatre Royal. Trapped in the snow with a killer still on board, can the world’s most famous detective, Hercule Poirot, crack the case before the train reaches its final destination? Gripping, tense and masterfully cryptic, this brand-new production is a deliciously thrilling ride and an ingenious murder mystery.  

Dickens’ timeless tale A Christmas Carol (19 – 23 Nov 24) is reimagined through dance, music and storytelling by Northern Ballet. As the clock strikes midnight, join Ebenezer Scrooge on the journey of a lifetime to discover the true meaning of Christmas. Travel with the ghosts of Christmas past, present and future through family firesides, cold winter nights and the promise of a brighter future. A festive feast for the senses, Northern Ballet, brings one of the most loved stories of all time to life.

To have you chuckling all the way home, Norwich Theatre Playhouse has a whole array of comedy, including The Scummy Mummies (13 – 14 Nov 24), who are celebrating 10 years of scumminess! Ellie and Helen will be bringing all their most-loved songs, sketches. As well as the infamous duo don’t miss Laura Belbin (26 May 24), Luke Kidgell (18 Jul 24), Danny Beard (5 Sep 24), Sarah Keyworth (11 Sep 24), Grace Campbell (19 Oct 24) and Lucy Porter (28 Feb 25). Plus, due to popular demand, another date for Henning Wehn (12 Nov 24). 

Put on your blue suede shoes and come to celebrate the music of the King of Rock’ n’ Roll at Norwich Theatre Royal with A Vision of Elvis (2 Feb 25). At Norwich Theatre Playhouse, The Simon & Garfunkel Story (20 Jun 24) uses projection photos, original film footage and a full live band performing all the hits, including Mrs Robinson, Cecilia, Homeward Bound and many more. Whether you’ve been a fan for decades or recently joined the shoal via the ‘Stranger Things’ phenomenon, you won’t want to miss An Evening Without Kate Bush (27 Sep 24).  

The Norwich Theatre Beyond stage is heading out to The Great Hospital in Norwich for Kiss Marry Kill (16 – 19 May 24), where you will take a seat on a prison bed and prepare for the action to take place in front of, above, and around you. Inspired by real-life events, Kiss Marry Kill is a provocative new play that reimagines the first same-sex wedding in a UK prison. 

Norwich Theatre Stage Two will launch the UEA Green Festival (25 Apr 24), an annual four-day celebration of environmental films and filmmakers from around the world. The launch will feature the film To The End by Rachel Lears, which captures the emergence of a new generation of leaders and the movement behind the most sweeping climate change legislation in US history. 

The on-sale dates for this month’s shows are 

19 Feb 24 – Gold Friends, Ambassadors and Corporate Members 

21 Feb 24 – Best Friends, Friends 

23 Feb 24 – General Public  

Signing up for Norwich Theatre’s Friends or Ambassadors Scheme will give you access to priority booking for shows across its three venues, allowing you to secure your favourite seats. The entry-level into the scheme costs £25 a year and includes benefits such as priority booking, half-price first-night dramas and discounts on tickets, plus a 10% discount off food and drink at Norwich Theatre Royal the Playhouse and Stage Two.
