Norfolk and Norwich Operatic Society (NNOS) is delighted to announce that its 2027 production will be the high-energy, Gershwin-inspired romantic musical comedy, Crazy For You. The production will be at Norwich Theatre Royal between 26 – 30 Jan 27.
NNOS will be bringing the glamour, showbiz sparkle, and toe-tapping tunes to this comedy. With its blend of mistaken identity, laugh-out-loud comedy, and a heart full of rhythm, it is bound to put a smile on your face.
The show follows Bobby Child, a stage-struck banker with dreams of dancing on Broadway. When he’s sent to a sleepy Nevada town to foreclose on a rundown theatre, he falls head over tap shoes for local girl Polly and hatches a wild plan to save the theatre by putting on a show!
The production features a treasure trove of Gershwin’s most beloved hits, including I Got Rhythm, Someone to Watch Over Me, and They Can’t Take That Away from Me.

You do not have to wait an entire year to see the magic of NNOS on Stage! They will bring Rodgers and Hammerstein’s timeless masterpiece, Carousel (24 – 28 Feb), to the Norwich Theatre Royal next week. Carousel tells the dramatic love story of carnival worker Billy Bigelow, who falls for the sweet yet naive Julie Jordan at the carousel.
Accompanied by a 26-piece orchestra, the beautiful score features beloved songs such as If I Loved You, What’s the Use of Wonderin’, June is Bustin’ Out All Over, and the iconic, heart-rending You’ll Never Walk Alone.
