Norwich Theatre is delighted to announce the first-ever UK comedy tour of actor, author and television presenter Joe Tracini’s hit comedy show Ten Things I Hate about Me. The show will open at Norwich Theatre Playhouse 20 Apr 26 before embarking on a nationwide tour for Spring/Summer 2026.
In Ten Things I Hate About Me Joe takes audiences through the nine official symptoms of BPD, and a tenth that’s the hardest to face, using his own experiences to explore addiction, self-harm, and suicidal thoughts with disarming humour, candour, and a huge amount of heart.
The show was a smash hit in Edinburgh, named in British Comedy Guide’s “Best-Reviewed Edinburgh Fringe Shows 2025”, featured in The Times’ “Edinburgh Festival 2025: The Best Shows to See This Year”, and nominated for the Mental Health Foundation Fringe Award 2025.
Joe said: “after 6 years of work, I’m so happy to finally be taking my show around the country. It’s a daunting thing to do, but the fact we’re announcing it on my first day of panto is perfect because I’m too busy to overthink”
Norwich Theatre has supported Joe throughout the creative process, including helping with the filming of his powerful Channel 4 documentary, Me and the Voice in My Head. The documentary chronicled the creation and development of the show, which had its premiere run at the Norwich Theatre Playhouse. The film went on to win two awards at the 2024 Grierson British Documentary Awards. Norwich Theatre is committed to supporting and touring vital new work across the UK.
