Next Monday, 23 Dec, the cast of this year’s panto, Aladdin, will be holding the annual Pantomime Carol Concert to spread festive cheer at St Peter Mancroft Church. It is a traditional carol service with extra pantomime pizzazz, where they will be performing readings and singing carols and classic Christmas songs.

The concert is a much-loved Norwich Theatre Christmas tradition. It is a chance for the cast, crew and theatre staff to take a break from this busy period working on the pantomime and celebrate Christmas together with the community of Norwich. The service is suitable for all ages and is open to anyone who would like to attend.

Wendy Ellis, Norwich Theatre Creative Programs & Audiences Director and lead producer of the pantomime said: The pantomime carol concert is a fantastic Christmas event. It’s so much fun to get the whole cast together and celebrate Christmas with the city.”

The Vicar at St Peter Mancroft, Revd Canon Edward Carter, expresses his excitement for the Pantomime Carol Service: “I am delighted that the panto cast of Aladdin will be back once again for our annual Pantomime Carol Service. This festive occasion is a highlight of our Christmas celebrations and reminds us all how lucky we are to have Norwich Theatre in our city. I look forward to welcoming members of the cast and singing beloved carols together.”

The carols start at 11am. Bring your family and friends along and celebrate Christmas with the Norwich Theatre pantomime.

There is still time to catch the genie-us pantomime Aladdin with performances on until 5 Jan.

Norwich Theatre Royal also offers a range of accessible performances, including audio description, BSL interpretation, captioning, and relaxed performance.

During panto season, kids eat free at Norwich Theatre’s restaurant Prelude. Any child under the age of 12 will receive a child’s main course and dessert free when accompanied by an adult purchasing a two or three-course meal.
