On Mon 22 Dec, the cast of Norwich Theatre’s pantomime, Cinderella, will head to St Peter Mancroft Church to perform classic carols and Christmas songs. This will be a traditional carol experience… but with some extra panto shimmer sprinkled over!
The concert is a well-loved Norwich Theatre tradition. A chance for the cast, crew, and Norwich Theatre’s staff to take a break from the busy working period, and to find time to celebrate the season together with the Norwich community.
The carols start at 11am. Bring your family and friends along and celebrate Christmas with the Norwich Theatre pantomime cast.
Wendy Ellis, Norwich Theatre Creative Programs & Audiences Director and lead producer of the pantomime, said: “The pantomime carol concert is one of my favourite moments during our panto run. For so many families in Norwich, our pantomime officially marks the start of their Christmas celebrations, and this concert is truly the start of ours.”
Speaking about the Pantomime Carol Service, the Vicar at St Peter Mancroft, Revd Canon Edward Carter, said:
“Christmas is such a special time of year, and the panto is a great Norwich tradition. I’m delighted we’re holding this unique Carol Service again, and I can’t wait to welcome everyone who’s involved with the Pantomime to the church. It’s always great fun – for me it’s a real highlight of Christmas.”
There are still tickets available to see our pantomime, Cinderella. Performances are on until 4 Jan. We also have a range of accessible performances, including BSL interpretation, captioning, relaxed and sensory-adapted performances.
