Chitty Chitty Bang Bang flies into Norwich Theatre Royal 24 – 29 Sep 24 with a show based on the much-loved family favourite. Join the Potts family’s fantastical adventures to far-off lands in their magical motor car. Grease (3 – 8 Jun 24) is the word at Norwich Theatre Royal, as leather-clad greaser Danny and girl-next-door Sandy are reunited at Rydell High. This musical is bursting with hits, including Summer Nights, Greased Lightnin’, Hopelessly Devoted to You, and You’re the One That I Want.   

The smash-hit and critically acclaimed musical Everybody’s Talking About Jamie returns to the Norwich Theatre Royal stage between 24 – 29 Jun. Strictly Come Dancing professional Kevin Clifton will play Hugo/Loco Chanelle, with X-Factor winner Sam Bailey playing the role of Miss Hedge. 

Luna Loves Library Day the Musical (25 Feb 24) at Norwich Theatre Playhouse is an exciting new musical for families, based on the book by Waterstones Children’s Laureate, Joseph Coelho. Join Luna and her dad for an adventure among the library shelves. 

Norwich Theatre’s line-up of comedians going on sale in July includes Dom Joly (5 Mar 24, Playhouse) Ed Gamble (17 Mar 24, Theatre Royal) Julian Clary (9 Jul 24, Theatre Royal) Clinton Baptiste (7 Sep 24 Playhouse) and Frankie Boyle (18 Oct 24, Theatre Royal).  

Guess who whodunit with Cluedo 2 (2-6 Jul 24) at Norwich Theatre Royal. A brand-new story set in the swinging 60s, with a new house, new suspects, and lots of new bodies! This rollicking spoof will have you guessing until the final twist! Double, double toil and trouble, Macbeth makes its way to Norwich Theatre Playhouse, 29 Jan – 1 Feb 24. This is a full-scale production set in the murky Dark Ages, where love, politics and witchcraft collide. 

Tis the Season: the Playhouse Way! Norwich Theatre has a host of shows perfect for a cheeky Christmas night out. International cabaret’s Two Turtle Doves (6 Dec) will have festive songs and a hilarious take on the Twelve Days of Christmas. The Easy Rollers (14 Dec) return to the golden age of Jazz, and Mat Ricardo’s Christmas Cabaret (15 – 16 Dec) will bring cabaret stars for a very special show.  

The on-sale dates for this month’s shows are 

24 Jul – Gold Friends, Supporters and Corporate Members 

26 Jul – Best Friends, Friends 

28 Jul – General Public
