Norwich Theatre is thrilled to announce the Junior Ensemble for its pantomime, The All New Adventures of Peter Pan, which will fly into Norwich Theatre Royal on 5 Dec 26 and run through the festive period until 3 Jan 27.
The 24-strong Junior Ensemble is made up of talented local children from across Norfolk, who will share the role of Neverland’s Lost Children across three performing teams:
- Team Tootles: Olivia, Ava, Ellie, Ernie, John, Daisy, Hannah, and Evie.
- Team Curly: Ayla, Rufus, Audrey, Ruby, Sorya, Elsie, Rupert, and Rose.
- Team Nibbs: Allana, Poppy, Skye, Martha, Aubrey, Esmeralda, Thomas, and Esme Rose.
The cast was selected following an extensive local search that began with The Journey to Neverland: Junior Cast Workshops between May and June, where nearly 400 participants took part in free, high-energy sessions inspired by the show. Final auditions were held in September to select the final 24 performers.
Wendy Ellis, Norwich Theatre Creative Programmes & Audiences Director and Lead Producer of the pantomime, said: “Panto season is pure magic, but there’s nothing quite like the energy our Junior Ensemble brings to our stage. So many young people brought their enthusiasm and talent to our workshops, and these 24 talented young people are ready to bring the energy and the panto mischief. We can’t wait for Norfolk audiences to cheer on their own local talent this festive season.”
The Junior Ensemble will take centre stage playing the Lost Children in Neverland and join the previously announced principal cast, led by Norwich panto favourite Joe Tracini as Smee, Casualty’s Milo Clarke as Peter Pan, Game of Thrones star Kerry Ingram as Wendy, the fabulous Quinn Patrick as Tink, and Hamilton star Karl Queensborough stepping into the boots of the villainous Captain Hook.
Completing the cast are the ensemble Claudia Bahrani, Sam Gallacher, Simanie Hemmise, Sammy Herbert, Holly Houseman, Josh Peberday, Brandon Thompson and Layla-Grace Vrahmis.
