In a move to make securing theatre tickets easier for audiences, Norwich Theatre will from January put shows on sale in the final week of every month.
Tickets will be available for general public sale on the final Friday of every month. As well as having a set date to know when new shows will be available to purchase, it will also mean shows going on sale are better spread throughout the year, rather than creating a financial bottleneck.
The new pattern for the final full week of every month will be:
Monday – Norwich Theatre Gold Friends, Supporters and Corporates
Wednesday – Friends and Best Friends
Friday – General Public
In January’s on sale there are more than 30 shows included. At Norwich Theatre Royal, Rory Bremner, Britain’s top satirical impressionist, stars as TV’s Chris Tarrant in James Graham’s thrilling, entertaining and provocative drama, Quiz (31 Oct – 4 Nov 23). This is a play that will take you back to Sep 2001 when the nation was gripped by a scandal on the TV quiz show, Who Wants to Be a Millionaire. The winner of every major play award, including five Oliviers, Life of Pi is heading to the Royal stage in Sep (25 – 30 Sep 23). The show will take you on an epic journey of endurance and hope.
If you are in need of a laugh, come and see one of the amazing comedians who have just been announced, including Griff Rhys Jones, in his funny observation, show The Cat’s Pyjamas, at Norwich Theatre Royal on 18 Jun 2023. Is charity always a positive thing? Is hustling the key to success? Or is all this a load of rubbish? Romesh will decide.
Also included in this line up are new shows to Norwich Theatre’s year-long Creative Matters series.
