A Host of Shows Added to Norwich Theatre’s Line up
Expect scary stories, laugh out loud comedians and the latest operas from English Touring Opera in this month’s on sale from Norwich Theatre. Shows go on sale to the public on the last Friday of the month.
Scary stories and investigations of the paranormal are all happening at Norwich Theatre Royal. Woman in Black (15 – 20 Jan) is coming to delight and terrify Norwich Theatre audiences with its atmosphere, illusion and horror … come if you dare! In Uncanny: I Know What I Saw (19 Nov 23), you can join Danny Robins, creator of the smash hit BBC Radio 4 paranormal podcasts Uncanny, The Battersea Poltergeist and The Witch Farm, for the biggest investigation into the paranormal.
The English Touring Opera will be back at Norwich Theatre Royal in October with two operas, Cinderella (16 Oct 23) – a joyful retelling of the classic story – and The Coronation of Poppea (17 Oct 23) – Monteverdi’s darkly entertaining depiction of violence and intrigue.
The Norwich Theatre Playhouse line up is packed with comedians to make you laugh. Bridget Christie (13 – 14 May 23) is confused about everything in this menopause laugh-a-minute show. Ruby Wax (18 – 19 Sep) brings her new show about trying to find peace and happiness in her frazzled life. Adam Rowe (5 Nov) with his brand new stand-up tour. Plus the voice of Love Island, Iain Stirling (17 Apr 24), shares his intuitive razor-sharp humour in 2024.
For something a bit different, the award-winning magician Ben Hart (4 Oct 23) brings his most personal show yet, inspired by his family heritage in India. Tony Hancock fans will enjoy the first ever UK tour of the classic radio comedy Hancock’s Half Hour (21 Oct). If soul and gospel are more your thing, Ruby Turner will delight us with her amazing voice.
