Spring has officially sprung, and the latest shows to go on sale at Norwich Theatre are blooming! Whether you’re ready to hand-jive with the Pink Ladies, celebrate a massive 30th-anniversary with a show that bares all, or witness a show that literally goes wrong. Grab your hair gel and hot rollers, it is time to head down to the dance competition to see who can hand-jive the best! Grease (25 Oct – 30 Oct 27) is shaking its way to the Norwich Theatre Royal stage in 2027! With all these hits, you will officially be an honorary member of the Pink Ladies.
The boys are returning with a major national tour of The Full Monty (7 Jun – 12 Jun), and they are heading to Norwich Theatre Royal! There are no heroes in Simon Beaufoy’s heartfelt play, just a group of lads trying to regain their dignity and pride. Gaz and his mates are down on their luck and feel they have been thrown on the scrap heap, but they are determined to fight back and bare a little more than they ever thought they would have to.
The sell-out West End smash hit production of Christmas Carol Goes Wrong (3 – 7 Nov 26) crashes into Norwich Theatre Royal. Don’t miss this guaranteed Christmas catastrophe from Mischief, the multi-award- winning company behind The Play That Goes Wrong. Enjoy a pre-festive slice of pure escapism at the worst production in Christmas past, present, and yet to come!
Norwich Theatre Stage Two is hosting some impressive talents this year, with NUA’s showcases of The Good Person of Szechuan (29 Apr – 1 May 26) and Posh (29 Apr – 1 May 26) as well as the UEA’s Green Film Festival (27 May). You can also catch a joyful evening of dance with Glorious Forms (22 May), Triple Threat Talent showcase (26 Apr), comedian Ahir Shah (Sun 21 Feb) and a bold new adaptation of L.P. Hartley’s classic novel The Go Between (28-29 Aug).
Ballets, orchestras and operas will never go out of style at Norwich Theatre! Going on sale this month are the Stuttgart Philharmonic (22 Nov 26) and Taiwan Philharmonic (28 Mar 27), who are both bringing an exciting repertoire of classical treats to Norwich Theatre Royal. Matthew Bourne’s epic interpretation of the classic fairytale of Cinderella (6 Apr -10 Apr 27) and The English Touring Opera is bringing Tosca and Orpheus and Eurydice to the stage (12 – 13 Mar 27).
