Norwich Theatre has just announced the latest shows to go on sale this month, and they are just too hard to resist! Expect sensational musicals, dazzling dance, pop royalty, a Monty Python luminary, a TV favourite and some comedy big hitters all going on sale. So what are you going to book?
All shows go on sale to the public on the last Friday of the month [Fri 26 Apr]. Norwich Theatre Friends and Ambassadors enjoy priority access, plus extra benefits such as half price first night on most dramas.
Simply the best musical, TINA: The Tina Turner Musical (13 – 24 Jan 26) is heading to Norwich Theatre Royal, telling the story of legendary artist Tina Turner, the twelve-time Grammy Award-winning Queen of Rock’ n’ Roll. Set to the pulse-pounding soundtrack of her iconic hits, including The Best, What’s Love Got To Do With It?, Private Dancer and River Deep and Mountain High.
Starring TV favourite Les Dennis, Notes From a Small Island (5 – 8 Feb 25) at Norwich Theatre Royal celebrates one of the nation’s most beloved books and the quirks of our small island.
Step through the wardrobe into the enchanted kingdom of Narnia with The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe (8 – 12 Jul 25) at Norwich Theatre Royal. Another chance to see this magical production, ideal for all the family.
Join Steps superstar Claire Richards for the ultimate disco party, Everybody Dance (8 Nov 24), at Norwich Theatre Royal! Featuring the greatest dance and disco hits of all time, from Donna Summer to Dua Lipa, Beyonce, to ABBA and everything in between!
For even more music, don’t miss Brit and Grammy Award-winning musician Bernard Butler (23 Oct 24) at Norwich Theatre Playhouse performing songs from his first solo album in 25 years. Neil Diamond fans need to look no further with It’s a Beautiful Noise (9 Jan 25) at Norwich Theatre Royal. Fisher Stevens, alongside the live orchestra, will breathe new life into hits like Sweet Caroline and Cracklin Rosie.
Get your flat caps ready for Peaky Blinders: The Redemption of Thomas Shelby (17 – 21 Jun 25). The iconic TV drama full of gangsters, guns, knives and slick suits has been turned into a dance phenomenon by Rambert. Expect dazzling, athletic dance and stunning dramatisation with the iconic Peaky soundtrack played live on stage.
Comedy fans are also catered in the latest shows to go on sale. Norfolk’s favourite twins, The Nimmo Twins (30 Jul – 8 Aug & 19 – 24 Aug) are back at Norwich Theatre Playhouse with If You Tolerate Diss, Your Children Will Be Next. The pair (Owen Evans and Karl Minns) return with brand-new Normal for Norfolk show of sketches, songs, monologues and, if the budget allows, finger-puppets to cast an on-the-huh look at all things East Anglian.
Two top comedians are at Norwich Theatre Royal next May. Harry Hill (11 May 25) embarks on his Diamond Jubilee lap of honour, celebrating 60 Glorious Years of fun. For a dose of dry humour and deadpan delivery, there’s no one better than Jack Dee (25 May 25). His brand new show is a hilarious take on the meaningless small things of life.

Norwich Theatre’s most intimate venue, Stage Two, has spoken word from James Rowland (27 & 28 Sep 24) a story about cancer diagnosis and going for run by Katie Arnstein: The Long Run (22 Sep 24), a festival-driven show with a banging soundtrack by Elle Dillon-Reams: HoneyBEE (5 Oct 24), a one-man show by Shôn Dale-Jones (3 Nov 24) and comedy from Andrew Bird (1 Mar 25).
