On Wed 12 Nov, Norwich Theatre will host The Shape of Business at Norwich Theatre Playhouse. The event will bring together business leaders and industry specialists to explore the evolving landscape of running a business, examining what it takes to succeed today and what the future may hold.
Taking place from 8.30am to 1pm, the day will feature a series of three panel discussions, bringing to life the realities of life as a business owner or leader. . The aim is for attendees to share insights and learn from one another how to balance the many opportunities and challenges facing businesses in the 21st century.
This event is part of Norwich Theatre’s Creative Matters season, The Shape of Family. This season explores the evolving nature of family life, from multi-generational homes to chosen families and blended households. It uses a mix of performances, films, workshops, and art to encourage discussion and make connections through creativity.
In the morning, the three panel discussions will be chaired by representatives from Norwich Theatre. We will announce the details the panellists soon. The event will also provide the opportunity for guests to ask questions and delve further into these key topics.
The three panels are:
- Early Days & Growth Spurts – This panel will examine the business life cycle, from the challenges of a start-up to navigating growth, restructuring, and leadership changes in established companies.
- Making Work Work for Real Life – This discussion will explore how workplaces can best support the realities of modern life and the people within their organisations.
- Future Proofing for People & AI – Panellists will discuss succession planning, adopting artificial intelligence, and developing the skills needed for the next generation of leaders and workers.
Following the panels, all guests will have the opportunity to network and share what they learned during the day.
