There is something fishy going on! Several fish have escaped from Norwich Theatre with some tasty prizes attached.
The fish are hiding in eight locations in and around the fine city of Norwich. Those who catch a fish and bring it back to the Box Office in Norwich Theatre Royal by this Saturday will receive a pair of tickets for Come From Away on Tue 15 Oct at 7.30pm. Tuna in to Norwich Theatre’s socials for clues to where these pesky fish are hiding. Full terms and conditions can be found on Norwich Theatre’s website.
The musical Come From Away tells the incredible story of the 7,000 air passengers from all over the world who were grounded in Canada during the wake of 9/11, and the small Newfoundland community that invited these ‘come from aways’ into their lives. Come From Away is the season finale of Norwich Theatre’s Creative Matters: Kindness through Creativity.
The season has explored how creativity and the arts can inspire change, tell unheard stories, build compassion and create a fairer and kinder society. Audiences have enjoyed a series of shows, take-part activities, film screenings, half term take part workshops and art installations.
In reflection of the Creative Matters season and the spirit of Come From Away and its real-life story of compassion, community, and resilience, Norwich Theatre is asking audience members to donate to its Norwich Foodbank collection at one of its donation points during the two week run of the show.
If you wish to donate an item, please bring it to Norwich Theatre Royal between 15 and 26 Oct at any time and leave it at one of the collection points.
The tickets cannot be exchanged so if you can’t come why not be inspired by the random acts of kindness from the show and offer them to friends or family.
Come From Away is at Norwich Theatre Royal between 15 – 26 Oct. For more information or to book tickets, visit norwichtheatre.org or call the Box Office on 01603 630 000.
