It is not every day you get to wrap a building in bright pink tape, but today a team of designers have decorated the Theatre Royal for the national SCENE / CHANGE campaign.
The colourful initiative supports freelance set and costume designers and aims to highlight the hustle and bustle of the theatre, that is currently missed by the industry and the wider community.
Volunteers Grace Venning and Simon Rupert decorated the building with pink tape, displaying the message: MISSING LIVE THEATRE. Venues up and down the country have joined in with this venture, to raise awareness for need of further support from the Government to the performing arts industry. Norwich Theatre also took part in the Light It In Red Campaign.
