The Ocean at the End of the Lane | Norwich Theatre Royal | 6 – 9 Sep 23 

Fan of fantasy? Don’t miss the National Theatre’s brand-new adaptation of The Ocean at the End of the Lane. This epic production derives from the eccentric imagination of best-selling author Neil Gaiman, blending magic with memory whilst taking audiences on a mesmerising journey of mystery. Dive into a new world and reckon yourself with ancient forces with this stellar production. 

The Puddle at the End of the World | Norwich Theatre Stage Two | 23 Sep 23 

With a similar theme of adventure and mystery, The Puddle at the End of the World is a fun production aimed at helping school children understand the climate crisis. Join Jamie and her Nanna on an exhilarating journey to rebuild their lives after their home has become lost under rising sea levels. Intertwining song, dance, and puppetry, this makes a perfect production for all generations of the family. 

Life of Pi | Norwich Theatre Royal | 25 – 30 Sep 23 

Jaw-dropping visuals and world-class puppetry dominate the stage in Life of Pi. Based upon the best-selling book, the story follows Pi, stranded on a lifeboat in the company of a hyena, a zebra, an orangutan, and a Royal Bengal tiger. This is the show’s first tour following its major success on the West End and Broadway, don’t miss your chance to see it!

2:22: A Ghost Story | Norwich Theatre Royal | 10 – 14 Oct 23 

Can the dead really walk again? 2:22: A Ghost Story follows Jenny and her husband in their new home, which Jenny believes to be haunted. Belief and scepticism clash in this hit West End play, filled with adrenaline, and sprinkled with humour. Featuring an all-star cast of Joe Absolom, Charlene Boyd, Nathaniel Curtis and Louisa Lytton. Stay up with them until 2:22 and discover if ghosts are real. 

Quiz: The Coughing Major Millionaire Scandal | Norwich Theatre Royal | 31 Oct – 4 Nov 23 

Who Wants to Be a Millionaire was scammed out of £1,000,000. Or was it? You decide. This fictional drama stars Britain’s top impressionist, Rory Bremner, as Chris Tarrant, alongside Charley Webb, Lewis Reeves and Mark Benton. New evidence is unearthed, and the audience put their fingers on keypads and answer the ultimate 50/50: guilty or not guilty? 

The Full Monty | Norwich Theatre Royal | 24 – 28 Oct 23 

Based upon the hit film, The Full Monty explores the lives of six unemployed steel workers in the 90s, struggling to support their families. Determined to make ends meet and help Gaz see his son, the friends bare a little more than they thought they would have to. Starring Danny Hatchard, Jake Quickenden, Bill Ward, Neil Hurst, Ben Onwukwe and Nicholas Prasad, book tickets for a nostalgic night out! 

Noises Off | Norwich Theatre Royal | 7 – 11 Nov 23 

A play within a play, Noises Off is a hilarious comedy following the antics of a touring theatre company that is failing miserably at entertaining. From chaotic rehearsals to disastrous matinees, the cast will have you in stitches. This triumphant comedy features TV and stage legends such as Liza Goddard, Matthew Kelly and Simon Shepherd.
