Stars Millie O’Connell (Sleeping Beauty) and Karl Queensborough (Prince) will host a storytime session, in costume, for visiting youngsters and their families.

The pair will read their favourite children’s stories to encourage reading and the love of stories.

Millie O’Connell said: “I am so excited for the panto storytime at the library to meet everyone and read some of my favourite stories. I hope I won’t be too sleepy afterwards!”

Karl Queensborough added: “Encouraging the love of stories, whether on the stage or in books, is so important as it encourages them to explore and ignites their imagination. I can’t wait for the special storytime event; I hope to see as many people there as possible.”

The storytime will start at 10.30am and will be held in the children’s library on the ground floor of the Norfolk and Norwich Millennium Library. The event is free to attend, and there is no need to book.

Limited tickets are still available to see this year’s pantomime Sleeping Beauty, The Fairy’s Tale (21 Dec – 7 Jan). In this pantomime, get ready to see the fairy’s take on what really happened in a musical adventure to save our Sleeping Beauty, with a prince in tow and despite the efforts of the Evil Fairy.

Full of pantomime cheer and sparkle, there is all the songs, jokes, mischief and dancing you expect, plus the chance to boo, hiss and cheer, of course!
