This autumn, audiences are invited to embrace the weird, the wonderful and the wonderfully macabre as Sound Ideas Theatre Company presents the Broadway and West End hit musical The Addams Family at Norwich Theatre Playhouse from 30 September to 4 October 2026.
Following their recent productions of Gypsy, The SpongeBob Musical and Les Misérables (in collaboration with other local theatre groups at Norwich Theatre Royal), Sound Ideas Theatre Company returns with one of musical theatre’s best comedies. The show brings the iconic characters to life in a spectacular production packed with laughs, heart and hauntingly good fun.
When Wednesday Addams falls in love with a sweet, respectable young man from an ordinary family, the stage is set for a dinner party unlike any other. As family secrets unravel and two completely different worlds collide, Gomez, Morticia, Uncle Fester, Lurch, Pugsley, Grandma and a host of eccentric ancestors deliver an unforgettable evening filled with comedy that proves every family is wonderfully unique.
