Norwich Theatre is pleased to announce St John’s House Care Home as its newest Corporate Sponsor.
They join K Foley Ltd and SG Wealth Management as Corporate Sponsors, the highest level of corporate partnership the theatre offers.
St John’s House is a premium luxury care home near the Golden Triangle and is a part of Castle Meadowcare Group. The care home has recently received an “Outstanding” rating from the Care Quality Commission, one of only nine care homes in Norfolk to receive this rating.
Emma Bayne, General Manager at St John’s House, said: “Many of our residents will have a passion for theatre and will already be enjoying trips to see shows such as panto and Les Mis, so a sponsorship seemed a natural fit. But it is not just for our residents. It allows us to offer extra benefits for our staff and give them opportunities to explore what the theatre offers.
“At St John’s House, we want to be involved in the local community as much as we can, and we do a lot of community engagement work to involve our residents. So, we can’t wait to be a part of the theatre community and get involved in some creative experiences.”
Garry Gardiner, Commercial Director at St John’s House, added: “Norwich Theatre’s aim to provide creative experiences for all aligns closely with ours as we know how vital creative opportunities can be both for our residents and our staff. By working with the theatre, we will be able to bring enjoyment and wellbeing to our residents by creating special moments as well as boost the wellbeing of the wider community. This ties in very well with one of our company values which is Always Have Fun”.
Lauren Farley, Business Development Manager at Norwich Theatre, said: ”One of the best parts of my role is getting to meet connections at new businesses, and when those meetings develop into new relationships is always an exciting time. Getting to know Garry and Emma at St John’s House has been a brilliant experience, from when we first saw Garry and his team attend our Christmas Party last year to now becoming Sponsors. I am thrilled to have such a wonderful new business within our community and very much look forward to seeing how this partnership develops over the next 12 months.”
Norwich Theatre’s Corporate Community consists of over 40 businesses spanning three levels of investment: Membership, Associate Sponsorship (Safety Curtain) and Sponsor.
As a not-for-profit charity, the corporate relationships are vital to Norwich Theatre, supporting and funding the delivery of impactful projects and aiding engagement with local communities such as our Theatre Cares programme, a music session for those in early-stage dementia and the carers.
These projects provide instrumental support to members of our community who need it most, focusing on creativity as a means to support our wider audiences.
