Grease | 3 – 8 Jun | Norwich Theatre Royal

The Magic Flute | 14 Jun | Norwich Theatre Playhouse 

Wild Arts brings its production of Mozart’s The Magic Flute. The opera will be fully staged in costume and sung in English by a cast of 12 exceptional singers, with a chamber orchestra of 10 outstanding musicians. 

The 39 Steps | 18 – 22 Jun | Norwich Theatre Royal 

Alfred Hitchcock’s classic spy thriller brilliantly and hilariously recreated for the stage. Follow the incredible adventures of our handsome hero Richard Hannay, complete with stiff-upper-lip, British gung-ho and pencil moustache, as he encounters dastardly murders and double-crossing secret agents.  


Everybody’s Talking About Jamie | 24 – 29 Jun | Norwich Theatre Royal 

Jamie New is sixteen and lives on a council estate in Sheffield. Jamie doesn’t quite fit in, but he is going to be a sensation. Funny, fabulous, feel good, and featuring an all-star cast including Strictly Come Dancing royalty Kevin Clifton! 

Cluedo 2 | 2 – 6 Jul | Norwich Theatre Royal 

The hilarious whodunit is back! Rock’ n’ roll legend Rick Black has not had a hit for years and is broke. But as he settles into his grand new home, Graveny Manor, he is desperate to revive his fading career and reclaim his fame and fortune… 

101 Dalmatians | 9 – 13 Jul | Norwich Theatre Royal 

When fashionista Cruella de Vil plots to swipe all the Dalmatian puppies in town to create her fabulous new fur coat, there’s trouble ahead for Pongo and Perdi. This classic canine caper is brought to life on stage with spectacular puppetry, show-stopping choreography and witty songs. 


Player Kings | 17 – 20 Jul | Norwich Theatre Royal 

Star of stage and screen Ian McKellen plays Falstaff in a new version of Shakespeare’s Henry IV, adapted by the award-winning writer and director Robert Icke. Bringing together Shakespeare’s two great history plays (Henry IV, parts 1 and 2) into the theatrical event of the season. 


La tragédie de Carmen | 26 Jul – 28 Jul | Norwich Theatre Royal 

A Buxton International Festival and Norwich Theatre Production with the Northern Chamber Orchestra. It is a brutal, gritty tale of self-destruction fuelled by lust, set to some of the most famous music in opera.  

& Juliet | 30 Jul – 3 Aug | Norwich Theatre Royal 

Break free of the balcony scene and get into this romantic comedy that proves there’s life after Romeo. Get whisked away on a fabulous journey as Juliet ditches her famous ending for a fresh beginning and a second chance at life and love. 

A Chorus Line | 27 Aug – 31 Aug | Norwich Theatre 

New York City. 1975. On an empty Broadway stage, 17 performers are put through their paces in the final, gruelling audition for a new Broadway musical. Only eight will make the cut.
