This August, Norwich Theatre is ready to turn the summer holidays into a whirlwind of creativity, with weekly free Friday sessions to get creative with your little ones, and a week-long holiday club.

Sam Beal, Head of Creative Engagement at Norwich Theatre, said: “Summer at Norwich Theatre is all about creative fun. This is why this August we are supporting families and removing the pressure by providing a creative space that sparks the imagination.”

Join the Imagination Fuel sessions running every Friday in August. Perfect for ages 6-10 and their grown-ups, the sessions feature a mix of high-energy games and creative tasks that engage everyone in a friendly, supportive environment. To top it all off, there is no need to worry about lunch at the end of each session; children will be provided with lunch – tasty sandwiches from our restaurant, Prelude. These sessions are free but must be booked.

The Norwich Theatre Summer Holiday Club (17 – 21 Aug) is a five-day theatre-making programme for young people. Across the week, participants will explore the theme of courage and bravery. Participants will spend the week building confidence and teamwork through an inclusive mix of drama, movement, and design.

Each day includes warm-ups, skill-building sessions and a 60-minute masterclass led by theatre practitioners, with plenty of breaks, outdoor reset time and choice-based activities (including journalling and craft options). The week ends with a relaxed, low-pressure sharing for families that celebrates creative exploration, whether participants prefer to perform, showcase designs or display their journals and theatre-making.

Spaces are limited, and pre-booking is essential for these popular sessions. For more information, visit norwichtheatre.org or call the Box Office on 01603 630 000.
