Education Partnerships

We offer a range of annual partnership opportunities for those who want to develop and embed creative work with their students. They include a range of benefits and are suitable for both primary and secondary educational establishments.

We want to work with local schools to

  • Inject arts and cultural activities into the classroom to enrich students’ learning and attainment
  • Empower teachers through bespoke CPD sessions and opportunities to make meaningful connections with other schools and industry professionals
  • Provide life changing opportunities for students to see professional theatre, take part in workshops and perform on stage in Norwich Theatre’s buildings

Bronze – £1200 + VAT

  • £300 of theatre tickets
  • X1 Teacher Network membership including
  • X6 meet ups
  • End of year celebration event
  • Secondary only – X1 week work experience placement for 1 year 10 student in the summer term (specific week to be arranged with the school) – we encourage applications from students eligible for pupil premium or free school meals
  • Primary only – X1 career talk delivered by Norwich Theatre Creative Engagement staff
  • X2 practitioner visits (this could include a targeted workshop around a chosen theme or support with sharing’s/performances)
  • Play in a Day at Stage 2 for a class of up to 30 students
  • Education pack (including preparation classroom activity ideas, extracts and CPD content
    •  CPD session (1hr30mins)
    • Introductory workshop for students
    • Performance at Stage Two including all tech
  • X1 school tour for a class of up to 30 students
  • Ad hoc offers and events exclusive to school partners – this could include invitations to open rehearsals, discounts, workshops and other exclusive events

Silver – £1,950 + VAT

  • £400 of theatre tickets
  • X2 Teacher Network memberships including
  • X6 meet ups

  • Playhouse Takeover (capacity of 3 classes of up to 30 students):
    • Education pack (including classroom activity ideas, extracts and CPD content)
    • CPD session (1hr30mins)
    • X3 practitioner visits to support with response rehearsals
    • Performance at the Playhouse including all tech

OR

    • X8 days practitioner placement in school (this could include targeted workshops around a chosen theme or support with sharing’s/performances)
  • X3 school tours for a class of up to 30 students
  • Ad hoc offers and events exclusive to school partners – this could include invitations to open rehearsals, discounts, workshops and other exclusive events
