Want to be the next panto star? Here’s how!

Do you know a fairy in training? Applications are now open for Junior Ensemble for our upcoming pantomime, Sleeping Beauty!

We are on the lookout for budding young performers for the Junior Ensemble, who will be playing fairies in training at the Wish Factory in this year’s panto Sleeping Beauty 

The fairies in training are a group of apprentice fairies who are learning how to grant wishes to those who need them.  

The application portal is open now, and closes Sat 19 Aug, at 4pm. Young actors are encouraged to apply if they can sing, dance and act, are aged 9 – 11 years old. 

Due to the number of performances, Norwich Theatre will be casting 12 children in total, with the number of performances being split between actors.

How to Apply 

Parents/guardians of applicants are asked to submit their child’s audition via the online platform, available here.

This will involve completing a brief application form, uploading a photograph, and the submission of a video recording. 

All applications submitted through this site will be viewed and considered by the Creative Team. 

Those who are successful will be invited to audition in person at Norwich Theatre on Fri 1 Sep. 

Eligibility 

All children must be between 9 and 11 years of age and live within 30 minutes travel time to Norwich Theatre.  

Applicants must be available for all rehearsals during the period of 20 Nov to 8 Dec 23, and performances from 9 Dec 23 to 7 Jan 24. This will involve time during school hours, as well as evenings and weekends.
