Cardboard Creations: Build a Stage Set
This event is in the past
What is it?
A FREE drop-in session for families to explore building new worlds from reclaimed materials.
Come and immerse yourselves in a pop-up stage and experiment making people, furniture and imaginary landscapes using cardboard boxes and craft materials – no carpentry experience necessary! Spend as long as you like collaborating and making as a family, adding décor to our temporary structure, and enjoying some peace in this quiet craft zone. Work slowly, quickly, large or small; there’s no wrong way to take part.
Throughout the session, we’ll imagine a play about kindness and pledge a good deed to perform in future. Take your designs home or donate them to our pop-up theatre.
What will I get from taking part?
You will work collaboratively and be inspired by your family’s creativity in this accessible drop-in creative session.
Who will be leading the project?

Do I need any particular skills or experience to take part?
You do not need any previous experience to take part and enjoy.
