Norwich Theatre’s Teacher Network provides a space for local teachers to make meaningful connections in a relaxed and friendly environment.
This CPD workshop will shed light on the different aspects of the War Horse rehearsal process, giving an insight into the Director’s vision and how Michael Morpurgo’s evocative text was adapted for the stage.
Through hands-on exercises, you will explore technical elements and staging, puppetry skills, and using research as a tool in the rehearsal room, with a view to offering practical activities that will enhance your lesson plans. This training aims to leave you with inspiration, insight and new ideas to take back with you into the classroom. The content is most suitable for secondary educators or older years KS2.
