This February, one of the world’s leading dance companies and huge favourites with UK audience, Nederlands Dans Theater 2 (NDT 2), head to Norwich Theatre on 22 – 23 February 2022.
NDT is one of the world’s leading contemporary dance companies, based in The Hague and performs for an international audience. The company has a stellar reputation for creating new work, supporting emerging artists, and developing exceptional dancers.
This is NDT 2’s first UK and Ireland tour in six years, with a programme featuring two tour premieres alongside a firm favourite from the company’s repertoire. For their highly anticipated return to the UK, NDT 2 will perform works by celebrated international choreographers: Marco Goecke, Hans van Manen and Johan Inger.

On opening night (22 February), the Norwich Theatre Royal audience will have the opportunity for a free Q&A with some of the dancers and creative crew, allowing them to ask burning questions on the performance they may have. This is a rare opportunity and not to be missed.
For Strictly fans, there are two shows to whet your appetite while you wait for the new season! From Strictly Come Dancing and The Greatest Dancer Oti Mabuse is joined by some of the world’s greatest dancers and the West End’s finest singers and musicians for a show like no other. Oti Mabuse: I Am Here is at the Norwich Theatre Royal on 12 June 2022.
Here comes the Boys at the Norwich Theatre Royal on 17 July 2022, featuring dance superstars Graziano di Prima, Nadiya Bychkova, Pasha Kovalev and Strictly finalist Karim Zeroual and will be joined by the sensational Nikita Kuzmin. Don’t miss this show-stopping dance extravaganza, which promises to be the biggest party of the year!
Also heading to Norwich Theatre is the 21st Anniversary tour of Rhythm of the Dance at Norwich Theatre Royal on 22 July 2022, a dance and music extravaganza. The show contains a wealth of Irish talent and takes you on a trip through hundreds of years of Irish dance and music.
In 2023, a new dance theatre event by Rambert, delving into the story of Tommy Shelby and the Peaky Blinders, written by the creator of the global hit television series, is coming to Norwich Theatre Royal. Featuring dazzling, athletic dance and stunning dramatisation, don’t miss Peaky Blinders: The Redemption of Thomas Shelby between 17 – 21 January 2023.
