Make your trip to the panto extra special with our restaurant Prelude’s festive menu!

Our Head Chef, Jesús Torcat and his team have put together a special menu to tie in with this year’s pantomime Jack and the Beanstalk. The menus run throughout the festive season until 7 Jan, with some great options full of local produce.

There is something on the menu to tempt everyone. To start, why not opt for a smoked salmon, dill and cream cheese roulade or roasted bell pepper and sundried tomato pate and crostini bread? If that doesn’t have you salivating, treat yourself to a Christmas dinner with all the trimmings or a pan fried king oyster mushroom with roasted butternut squash sage risotto and sherry gel.

Those with a sweet tooth will not miss out either with options from the traditional Christmas pudding to the chocoholics delight: our chocolate torte with candied clementine and salted caramel sauce.

There is a festive children’s menu, as well as some fabulous options for the adults. With a Christmas dinner or pigs in blankets and mash and a choice of desserts, including ice cream or cookies and milk!

Did you know kids eat free this panto season? Any child under the age of 12 will receive a child’s main course and dessert free when accompanied by an adult purchasing a two or three course meal*.

By eating at Prelude, you take the whole stress out of the trip to the pantomime. Your table will be reserved for the duration of the performance so you can return to your table for drinks, coffee, desserts and ice cream.

Head Chef Jesús Torcat said: “Pantomime season is such an exciting time in the theatre, and our new menu compliments this year’s show. It means that audiences will have the chance to enjoy a meal that is every bit as exciting as the show on stage.

“With tables reserved for the whole performance, audiences can return to the restaurant during the interval to enjoy dessert and come back afterwards for a drink after being wowed by the cast of Jack and the Beanstalk!”

As tables as reserved all evening, numbers are limited, and tables are in high demand. We suggest you book early to avoid disappointment. Use this link https://norwichtheatre.org/your-visit/eatanddrink/ to book an amazing dining experience.

*Limited to one child per adult.
