Norwich Theatre is excited to launch Creative Conversations, an initiative designed to shape Norwich Theatre’s future. It follows the success of the previous Creative Conversations initiative two years ago, and is your chance to directly influence Norwich Theatre’s strategy and help ensure they are delivering what matters most to you.
They want to hear from everyone! Whether you’re a regular attendee, haven’t visited in a while, or are brand new to Norwich Theatre, your perspective is invaluable. By participating in its focus groups or completing our online survey, you’ll help Norwich Theatre understand your perceptions, what motivates your visit, and how they can better serve the vibrant community of Norfolk.
And as a huge thank you for your time, everyone who fills out the Creative Conversations survey will be entered into a prize draw to win two tickets to the smash-hit musical sensation, Hamilton!*
Stephen Crocker, Chief Executive and Creative Director of Norwich Theatre said: “Our initial research two years ago offered a rare and revealing glimpse into the hearts and minds of more than 1,800 audience members. It told a story of pride, connection, and resilience, but also of challenge, change, and opportunity. It was hugely influential in steering our work and we thank everyone who took part.
“As we reopen Creative Conversations, we again want to hear from you. Tell us what has changed or stayed the same in what you need from your theatre. What stories do you want to see on the stages and what would make you feel more inspired and more welcome? This is your invitation to truly shape the future of Norwich Theatre.”
Sam Dawson Assistant Director, Impact and Engagement at Norwich Theatre, said: “Theatre is all about connection, and that’s impossible without our incredible audiences. That’s why Creative Conversations is so important – it’s one way in which we are truly listening to our community to make a real impact. It doesn’t just stop at the survey, we will be holding focus groups to deepen the conversation and there are postcards in each building to get a snapshot of people’s perceptions and experiences of Norwich Theatre. We’re also carrying our creative activities with participants over the next few months to explore the impact of theatre on individuals. Everyone’s voice will help us shape our work.”
Creative Conversations is once again being carried out by Professor Rosemary Klich from University of Essex on behalf of Norwich Theatre.
The survey is open now until Sun 27 Jul. To fill out the Creative Conversations survey, please visit: https://norwichtheatre.org/creative-conversations
