The latest shows going on sale at Norwich Theatre features a sitcom classic, a Harry Potter star, an antiques expert, and Shakespeare – but a little bit tipsy, perfect treat for a last-minute Christmas gift.

The beloved TV sitcom Fawlty Towers (9 – 13 Jun 26), is heading to Norwich Theatre Royal. The play, much like the show, follows the hilarious exploits of eccentric hotel owner Basil Fawlty as he attempts to ensure the success of a failing establishment. Unlike the war, you will want to mention this!

Sharp-tongued actress Miriam Margolyes (31 Aug 25) returns to Norwich Theatre Royal with a brand new show, inviting us deeper into her world. She shares new cherished memories and razor-sharp observations from her 84 extraordinary years. Whether offering daring declarations, behind-the-scenes antics, or the indignities of ageing, Miriam’s insights will touch your heart, provoke your thoughts, and leave you in stitches.

Spend an evening with the quintessential British gent Nigel Havers, who is making his way to Norwich Theatre Royal on 15 March 2025. Nigel will take you on a thoroughly entertaining journey through five decades in showbiz. From his early days as a fresh-faced drama school hopeful to the highs and lows of a career that’s seen him in everything from Chariots of Fire and Empire of the Sun to Don’t Wait Up and some rather marvellous West End plays.

To tickle your funny bone, an array of comedians is going on sale this month, including the Wizard of Waffle, Ross Noble (8 Feb 26). At Norwich Theatre Playhouse, catch Joanne McNally as she navigates the funny side of relationships (2 & 3 May 25) or Jack Skipper (3 Sep 25), offering insights into the endeavours of a working-class father. Don’t miss Mark Watson (24–25 Oct) as he ponders humanity or comedian magician Pete Firman (29 Oct 25). At Norwich Theatre Stage Two, be sure to see YouTuber Abi Clarke (10 May 25) in her debut stand-up show.

Step into the fascinating world of antiques and architectural salvage with Drew Pritchard (9 Mar 25), the charismatic star of the 17-season hit series Salvage Hunters and one of Britain’s leading antique dealers. This special evening offers an up-close look at Drew’s life, career, and the stories behind some of his most remarkable finds.

For fans of Shakespeare looking to experience Hamlet with a twist, why not try Sh!t-faced Shakespeare on 13 November 2025 at Norwich Theatre Playhouse? Featuring a cast of professional Shakespearean actors, this unique production takes an unpredictable turn each night as one performer is deliberately intoxicated for up to four hours before showtime. The rest of the cast must then navigate the play, improvising through the unpredictable chaos that arises from their inebriated colleague’s antics.
